What Is It?

The 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 is a popular dedicated sports bike and is powered by a 599 cc inline four engine which puts out 111 bhp at 13,000 rpm and maximum torque at 11,000 rpm.

Features include:

  • Underslung exhaust
  • LCD clock and gear indicator
  • New slipper clutch
  • Tokico radial brakes
  • Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS)
  • Adjustable footrests
  • Immobiliser

The 2006 model represented a completely re-designed bike powered by a completely new 16 valve DOHC engine. Up front there are dual 310 mm discs with four piston radial calipers. At the rear a 220 mm disc with single piston caliper.

The bike was 15 mm shorter, 25 mm lower and had a seat height 15 mm lower than the previous version. The gear box is stacked to focus the centre of mass for better handling.
