What Is It?

The Honda CBR300R is an A2 licence friendly sports bike which replaced the CBR250R and which is closely related to the CB300R naked bike. It's powered by a liquid cooled 286 cc single cylinder engine, producing 30 bhp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque at 7,250 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel frame and swingarm
  • 296 mm disc at the front with two piston caliper
  • 220 mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
  • ABS system
  • 37 mm non-adjustable fork with 120 mm travel
  • Adjustable rear pro-link shock with 103 mm travel
  • 6 speed gearbox

Compared to the CBR250R there's a larger engine, 4 bhp more power, looks derived from the CBR500R and there's even an optional 760 mm low seat. Equipment is pretty sparse but the dash has the usual speed, revs, mileage, fuel, clock and temperature gauge.

The 5-spoke 17" wheels take a 110/70 tyre at the front and 140/70 at the rear.

Colours: Black, red/white/blue, black/yellow, red
