Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled For Sale
The 2017 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is an A2 licence friendly retro off-road style bike and is powered by an 803cc V-Twin engine which puts out 75bhp. It saw a minor update in 2019.
- Loads or torque, looks great
- Range, mirrors, can get hot
What Is It?
It's powered by a Euro 4 compliant air-cooled 803cc V-Twin two cylinder engine, producing 72bhp at 8,250rpm and maximum torque at 5,750rpm.
- Steel tubular frame and tank with Aluminium swingarm
- 330mm disc up front with Brembo M4.32B 2 piston caliper
- 245mm disc at the rear with Brembo single piston caliper
- Bosch 9.1 MP ABS system
- 46mm adjustable KYB upside down fork with 200mm travel
- Adjustable KYB rear shock with 200mm travel
- Headlight guard and handlebar cross bar
- Off-road footpegs with removable rubber pads

It's based on the Urban Enduro and differs to the rest of the Scrambler range with the larger front wheel, longer suspension travel, a 5mm beefier fork, headlight guard, high adventure style mudguards, engine skid plate, larger pegs and new longer Aluminium swingarm.
All the original Scrambler models used the same engine but for 2017 the Desert Sled gets a new throttle control and engine calibration for smoother power delivery low down.
Accessories include a 2cm lower seat, interchangeable side panels, smoked screen, front spotlights, handguards, high mount exhaust and cross bar bumpers (check the pics above).
The wire-spoked 19" front wheel takes a 120/70 Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyre and the rear 17" a 170/60. Maintenance is every 7,500 miles.
- 2017: Red, white (+£100)
