Yamaha XVS950 Midnight Star For Sale

The XVS950 Midnight Star is premium cruiser style bike and is powered by a 942cc V-Twin engine which puts out just 51bhp. It can be restricted for the A2 licence and was replaced by the XV950 in 2014.

What Is It?

  • Low down torque, very low seat
  • No rev counter, on the heavy and large side

It's powered by an air-cooled 942cc 60° V-Twin engine producing 51bhp at 6,000rpm and maximum torque at just 3,000rpm. It's a stressed member of the frame and the final drive is via belt.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • 320mm disc at the front with 2 piston caliper
  • 298mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
  • 41mm KYB fork with 135mm travel
  • Rear shock with adjustable pre-load and 110mm travel
  • 2->1 exhaust system
  • Fuel injection 
  • 5 speed gearbox

Accessories include a tall screen, pillion backrest/sissy bar, rider's backrest, 2->2 Vance & Hines exhaust system and 25 litre leather panniers. The Tourer edition gets you the screen, panniers and backrest but adds 20kg to the weight.

The 8 split spoke cast Aluminium 18" front wheel takes a 130/70 tyre and the rear a 170/70.
