Yamaha NMAX For Sale
What Is It?
The Yamaha NMAX is an entry level maxi scooter and is powered by a Euro 5 compliant liquid cooled 125 cc single cylinder engine, with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) for improved power and efficiency, producing 12.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm with maximum torque at 6,000 rpm.
- Steel tubular frame
- Twist and go automatic gearbox
- 230 mm disc up front with single piston caliper
- 200 mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
- ABS system
- Telescopic fork with 100 mm travel
- Dual rear shocks with 85 mm travel and adjustable pre-load
- Traction control
- 12V socket
- LCD dash
Compared to the 2015-2020 model there's sharp new styling, a 0.5 litre larger tank, a new LED headlight with daytime running lights, larger LCD dash with connectivity, keyless ignition and traction control.
The new frame is more rigid and a new Euro 5 compliant Blue Core engine makes the same peak power 500 rpm higher up the range with maximum torque 1,250 rpm lower down the range. It also gets a stop / start system to boost economy and a clever weight saving system which allows the generator to act as the starting motor.
Under the seat there is room for a full face helmet plus a small non-lockable storage compartment on the right of the steering column with a 12V socket for phones etc.
The 6-spoke 13" wheels take a 110/70 tyre at the front and a 130/70 at the rear.
Accessories include Ohlins piggyback rear shocks (£847), 30 litre top box (£83), 39 litre top box (£145), tall screen (£128), foot plates (£72), console bag (£47), USB port (£26) and heated grips (£146).
