The 1995 Yamaha XJR1200 is a retro style bike and is powered by a 1,188cc inline four engine which puts out 97bhp. It was replaced by the XJR1300 in 1999.

What Is It?

It's powered by an air and liquid cooled 1,188cc four cylinder four stroke engine, producing 98bhp at 8,000rpm and maximum torque at 6,000rpm. Most of the torque is available from just 2,000-3,000rpm.

  • Steel tubular frame
  • Dual 320mm discs up front with Brembo 2 piston calipers
  • 267mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
  • 43mm non-adjustable fork
  • Adjustable dual Ohlins piggyback rear shocks
  • 37mm CV Mikuni carbs
  • 4->1 exhaust system
  • 5 speed gearbox

The 3-spoke 17" wheels take a 130/70 tyre at the front and 170/60 at the rear. Accessories include the headlight fairing.
