The Piaggio Fly 50 is a modern scooter which can be ridden on the AM licence and is powered by a 50cc engine which puts out just 3bhp. It's also available as a 125 model with 12bhp.

What Is It?

Power is provided by a Euro 2 compliant air cooled 49.9cc single cylinder, 2 valve, 4 stroke engine, producing 3.5bhp at 8,250rpm and maximum torque at 7,750rpm.

Features include:

  • Tubular Steel frame
  • Automatic CVT gearbox with belt drive
  • 220mm disc up front with 2 piston caliper
  • 140mm drum at the rear
  • 32mm fork
  • Rear shock with 73mm travel
  • Flip out pillion pegs
  • Electric and kick starter (electric only from 2014)

In terms of storage the underseat area can take two small helmets, while the glove box can take smaller items such as your phone and there is also a bag hook. The 5 split spoke, 12" die cast Aluminium wheels take a 120/70 tyre front and back.

Accessories include a top box, screen and alarm.
