What Is It?
The Yamaha Neo's is a modern AM licence friendly scooter and is powered by an air-cooled electric hub motor which puts out just 3.1 bhp.
Features include:
- Steel tubular frame

- KYB fork with 90 mm travel
- KYB rear shock with 80 mm travel
- LCD dash with connectivity
- Ride modes: Standard, Eco (2.1 bhp / 1.6 kW)

For storage there is room for a jet style helmet in the 27 litres under the seat and there's an open glovebox in the steering column with a 12V socket.
The 8 kg removable 50.4 V 19.2 Ah Lithium battery can be charged from a UK socket in 8 hours and a second battery (£980) can be added for increased range but it eats up most of the underseat storage.
When operating two batteries it uses just the first until 20% power if left, then automatically swaps tot he second. When using one battery it slips into a special range extending mode at 20%, with limited power, to help you limp home.
The 10-spoke 13" front wheel takes a 110/70 tyre and the rear a 130/70.
Accessories include the 34 litre topbox (£165), luggage rack (£81), wireless charging module (£53) and USB socket (£28).
