What Is It?

The Piaggio Beverly 400 is a premium A2 licence friendly scooter and is powered by a Euro 5 compliant liquid cooled 399 cc single cylinder engine, producing 34.9 bhp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque at 5,500 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • Automatic CVT gearbox with belt final drive
  • 300 mm disc up front with two piston caliper
  • 240 mm disc at the rear with two piston caliper
  • ABS system
  • 35 mm Showa fork with 90 mm travel
  • Dual Showa rear shocks with adjustable pre-load and 81 mm travel
  • Traction control with off mode
  • LED lighting all round
  • LCD dash
  • Integrated seat cover under the seat
  • Bag hook
  • Fold out pillion pegs
  • Centre stand
  • Screen

There's also full LED lighting, keyless ignition / seat release / fuel cap, a 5.5" dash with connectivity, dual exhaust and a bike style rear wheel number plate hanger. Power is up 17% on the previous 350 version.

Under the seat there's room for two open face helmets, or one full face helmet on its side and the large glove box includes a 12V socket.

The 7-spoke 16" front wheel takes a Mitchelin City Grip 120/70 tyre and the 14" rear a 150/70.

Accessories include a 37 litre top box, tinted screen and tall screen.

Colours: White, silver, blue

Up And Down The Range

It's also available with a 300 cc engine and 26 bhp for £5,400, with slightly thinner tyres but lacks connectivity and the screen as standard.
