What Is It?

The Lexmoto ZSX-R 125 is a budget learner friendly naked bike which is closely related to the ZSX-F. It's powered by a Euro 4 compliant air-cooled 125 cc single cylinder four stroke engine, producing 10.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is an old Honda CBF design.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • Wavy disc up front with two piston caliper
  • Wavy disc at the back with single piston caliper
  • Side and centre stand
  • Electric starter
  • LED indicators
  • Chain guard
  • 5 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

Compared to the outgoing ZSX 125 there are now wavy discs, an upside down fork, single rear shock, no luggage rack, smarter blacked out exhaust / engine / pillion pegs and a rear disc brake but it's 3 kg heavier.

As before there's a useful space under the seat and the dash gives you a speed in mph plus an analogue rev counter.

The 10-spoke 17" wheels take a CST 90/90 tyre at the front and a 110/80 at the rear.

Colours: Blue, red, black (2019)

Did You Know?

It's also known as the ZS125-48F.

Model History & Updates

2017: ZS125-48F-E4 Euro 4 update with Delphi fuel injection and combined brakes. RRP is now £1,800.

Up And Down The Range

The ZSX-F is essentially the same bike but more commuter focused with a half fairing, standard fork, smaller front disc, a luggage rack and more protection from a larger screen.
