Honda Super Cub C125 For Sale
The Honda Super Cub is a premium retro scooter and is powered by a 125cc single cylinder engine which puts out 10bhp.
- Light, retro cool, practical
- A bit under powered, no pillions
It's powered by an air-cooled 125cc single cylinder four stroke engine, producing 9.5bhp at 7,500rpm and maximum torque at 5,000rpm. It's actually closely related to the fuel injected Grom engine.
- Steel tubular frame
- 4 speed gearbox with automatic clutch and chain final drive
- 220mm disc up front with single piston caliper
- 130mm drum brake at the rear
- ABS system (front wheel only)
- 26mm fork with 100mm travel
- Dual rear shocks with 84mm travel
- Rubber peg inserts
- Centre stand, alarm
100,000,000 Super Cubs have been sold since Honda stated making them and this latest model (with a 110cc engine) has been available to buy in Japan for a while but now it's coming to Europe as well. The fuel cap is hidden under the seat and there's a little cubbyhole housing the tool kit on the right side.
Honda have even cunningly blended full LED lighting into the retro look, without ruining it and including keyless ignition with a dedicated button to ping the bike from a distance which makes the indicators flash. There's even an "old wing" Honda logo on the side of the steering column just like the previous generation Super Cubs - check the pics above.
It should appeal to anyone seeking a retro scooter for town work, which has a bit of history behind it and which is perfectly set-up to throw a matching retro bag over the included rack. An enclosed chain drive also adds to the practicality with minimal cleaning required. The 5 Y-spoke 17" wheels take a 70/90 tyre at the front and 80/90 at the rear.
Note that the UK model does not have the pillion pegs, luggage rack or side stand - check the side on pics above.
Accessories are likely to include the luggage rack, side stand, pillion pegs and most probably a screen.
Colours: Blue/white, red/white
