What Is It?

The Aprilia RS125 is a popular learner friendly sports bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 125 cc single cylinder two stroke engine which produces maximum power at 11,000 rpm.

Features include:

  • Aluminium twin-spar frame and swingarm
  • 320 mm discs up front with four piston caliper
  • 240 mm rear disc with single piston caliper
  • 40 mm upside down fork with 120 mm travel
  • Rear shock with 120 mm travel
  • Electric starter
  • 6 speed gearbox

The 1996 RS125 replaces the old RS125R Extrema. The engine is a completely new Rotax 122 design and the front air intakes move to the top of the middle fairing.

The distinctive square headlight takes on a more rounded design, the nose is slightly pointed and the analogue temperature gauge is replaced by a digital gauge.
