What Is It?

The Indian Chief Dark Horse is a premium cruiser style bike. It's powered by an air-cooled 1,890 cc (116 cubic inches) Thunder Stroke V-Twin engine which puts out 89 bhp at 4,500 rpm and maximum torque at just 3,200 rpm.

Features include:

  • Belt final drive
  • Steel tubular frame and swingarm
  • 300 mm disc up front with four piston caliper
  • 200 mm disc at the rear with two piston caliper
  • ABS system
  • 46 mm fork with 132 mm travel
  • Adjustable dual rear shocks with 75 mm travel
  • Cruise control
  • Keyless ignition
  • Analogue + LCD dash
  • USB port
  • 2->2 exhaust system
  • 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

Compared to the 2016-2021 model there's a new 1,890 cc engine, smaller 15.1 litre tank, chopped fenders, single front disc, no headlight cowl, both exhausts on the right side, dual rear shocks on the outside, LED lighting, three ride modes (Tour, Standard, Sport), a new fork with 132 mm travel, bar-mounted round 4" TFT dash with connectivity, sat nav and a massive chunk chopped off the weight.

The 7-spoke 19" front wheel takes a Pirelli Night Dragon 130/60 tyre and the rear 16" a 180/65.

Accessories include the heated grips, ape hangar bars, slip-on exhausts, floorboards, pillion seat, pillion pegs, a variety of air cleaners and plenty of black bits.

Colours: Black, grey, green
