What Is It?
The BMW R1150R is a premium naked bike and is powered by an air and oil cooled 1,130 cc Boxer engine, producing 85 bhp at 7,250 rpm and maximum torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is stressed member of the frame.
Features include:

- Dual 320 mm discs up front with four piston calipers
- 276 mm disc at the rear with two piston caliper
- Adjustable 35 mm Telelever fork with 120 mm travel
- Adjustable Paralever rear suspension with 135 mm travel
- Triple analogue dash
- Centre stand
- Fuel injection
- 2->1 exhaust system
- 6 speed gearbox
The 10-spoke 17" wheels take a 120/70 tyre at the front and a 170/60 at the rear.
Accessories include the ABS system, heated grips, screen, side cases, top box, luggage rack and cylinder head covers. The £700 more expensive BMW R1150R Rockster adds a modern dual headlight, fly screen, full front fender, mini dual analogue dash and swaps the pillion seat for a luggage rack.
