Aprilia RX 50 For Sale

The 2006 Aprilia RX 50 is a learner friendly off-road style bike and is powered by a 50cc single cylinder engine which puts out 6bhp. It's also available as a supermoto version in the SX 50.

  • Strong frame
  • Only a kick starter

What Is It?

It's powered by a Euro 2 compliant liquid cooled 49.9cc single cylinder two stroke engine, producing about 6 bhp.

Features include:

  • Steel frame and swingarm
  • 260mm disc up front with 2 piston caliper
  • 180mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
  • 40mm fork with 195mm travel
  • Rear shock with 180mm travel
  • DellOrto carburetor
  • Kick starter
  • 6 speed gearbox

The engine itself only weighs 15kg and by opting for just a kick starter Aprilia shaved even more off.

The SX50 is basically the same bike but with normal 17" wheels, road going tyres, a larger 300mm front disc and a 50mm lower seat. Both bikes can be restricted for 16 year olds or derestricted to unlock the 50mph top speed.

The wire-spoked 21" front wheel takes a 90/90 tyre and the rear 18" a 110/80.

Colours: Black/red/white, red/black, white/orange
