What Is It?

The Honda CB550 F and K are standard naked bikes which are powered by an air cooled 544 cc inline four cylinder 8v engine, producing 50 bhp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque at 7,500 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • Disc brake up front with single piston caliper
  • Rear drum brake
  • 35 mm telescopic fork
  • Dual rear shocks with adjustable pre-load
  • Electric and kick starter
  • 5 speed gearbox
  • 4->4 exhaust system

The CB550K is closely related to the CB500F but with a slightly bored out engine delivering more mid-range power and torque however the weight is up roughly 8 kg. The 19" front wire-spoked wheel takes a 3.25 tyre and the rear 18" a 3.75.

From 1975 to 1977 they also offered the CB550K SuperSport with a lightweight 4->1 exhaust system and flatter handlebars.

Colours: Black, red, blue, yellow
