What Is It?

The Lexmoto Impulse 1500 is a new entry into the budget electric scooter market and is powered by an air-cooled 1.5 kW motor putting out just 2.7 bhp.

Features include:

• Steel tubular frame
• Disc up front with two piston caliper
• Disc at the rear with single piston caliper
• Standard fork
• Dual rear shocks
• Fold out pillion pegs
• LCD dash with connectivity
• Speaker for music / calls
• LED lighting
• Centre stand
• Bag hook

It's powered by a hub motor at the rear which is surrounded by an Aluminium fork. The 60V 24Ah battery lives under the floor and can be charged using the socket at the base of the steering column.

Rather unusually there is a front facing traffic camera which constantly records to a 16GB SD card. There is a small space under the seat but only two open gloveboxes at the front, with a USB socket in the right.

The 5-spoke 12" wheels take a 90/90 tyre at the front and a 90/90 at the rear.

Colours: White, grey

It's also known as the Cineco ES3 Pro and the ZS1500DT made by Zongshen in China. It can be de-restricted to open up the full 36 mph to speed.
