What Is It?
The Yamaha TRX850 is a premium sports bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 849 cc parallel twin engine which puts out 79 bhp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque at 6,000 rpm.
Features include:
- Steel tubular frame with Aluminium swingarm
- Dual 298 mm discs up front with four piston calipers
- 245 mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
- Adjustable 41 mm fork with 120 mm travel
- Adjustable rear monoshock with 130 mm travel
- Mikuni BDST38 carbs
- Triple analogue dash
- Side stand
- 2->2 exhaust system
- 5 speed gearbox
It's based on the TDM850 adventure bike but with a 270° crankshaft and different firing order to better resemble a V-Twin.
The 3-spoke 17" wheels take a 120/60 tyre at the front and a 160/60 at the rear.
