The Honda CBR400 is a dedicated sports bike and is also known as the NC23 Tri-Arm. It's powered by a liquid cooled 399 cc inline four cylinder engine, producing 59 bhp at 12,500 rpm.

• Rear 220 mm disc with single piston caliper

The NC23 launched with an inline four engine and racing style swing arm. It was primarily made for the Japanese market but available as a grey import in the UK.

CBR is short for City Bike Racer.
