What Is It?

The original Harley-Davidson V-Rod is a premium cruiser style bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 1,130 cc V-Twin engine, producing 115 bhp at 8,250 rpm and maximum torque at 7,000 rpm.

Features include:

  • Belt final drive
  • Steel frame, Aluminium swingarm / tank
  • Dual 300 mm discs at the front with four piston calipers
  • 300 mm disc at the rear with four piston caliper
  • 49 mm standard fork
  • Adjustable rear shock
  • Under seat fuel tank
  • 5 speed gearbox

The V-Rod is powered by a 60° V-Twin Revolution engine, jointly developed with Porsche and is Harley's first non 45° engine. It features lashings of Aluminium, which is a big step forward for Harley.

The 19" front wheel takes a 120/70 tyre and the rear 18" a 180/55.
