What Is It?
The Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom is a cruiser style bike and is powered by a rubber mounted air-cooled 1,199 cc Evolution V-Twin engine which puts out 57 bhp at 5,200 rpm and maximum torque at just 3,500 rpm.
Features include:
- Belt final drive
- Steel tubular frame and swingarm
- 292 mm disc up front with Nissin two piston caliper
- 292 mm disc at the rear with Nissin two piston caliper
- Non-adjustable 39 mm fork
- Dual rear shocks with adjustable pre-load
- Side stand
- 2->2 exhaust system
- 5 speed gearbox
The wire-spoked 21" front wheel takes a Michelin Scorcher 130/90 tyre and the rear 16" a 150/80.
Colours: Black, grey, blue, red, orange, blue/black, red/gold/black, yellow/white/black
Model History & Updates
2007: Evolution 1,202 cc (73.4 cubic inches) engine with fuel injection, keyless ignition, lighter clutch, 710 mm seat, 67 bhp at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque at 4,000 rpm and 267 kg wet.
2012: 16" wheels, LED taillight, wider / flatter tank and 264 kg wet.
2014: Optional ABS, gear position indicator, 300 mm disc up front, 260 mm disc at the rear, beefier calipers and Steel braided brake lines.
2016: Gas emulsion rear shocks.
