What Is It?

The Ducati Monster 1100 is a premium naked bike and is powered by an air-cooled 1,078 cc V-Twin engine which puts out 94 bhp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque at 6,000 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame with Aluminium single sided swingarm
  • Dual 320 mm discs up front with Brembo four piston calipers
  • 245 mm disc at the rear with Brembo two piston caliper
  • Adjustable 43 mm Showa upside down fork with 130 mm travel
  • Adjustable Sachs rear shock with 148 mm travel
  • LCD dash
  • Pillion seat cover
  • 2->2 exhaust system
  • 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

The 10-spoke 17" wheels take a Pirelli Diablo Rosso 120/70 tyre at the front and a 180/55 at the rear.

Colours: Black, white, silver, red

Model History & Updates

2011: £8,995 Monster 1100 Evo adds engine tweaks, 99 bhp, a 2->1->2 exhaust system, a new Marzocchi fork, a 4-level traction control system and ABS.

Up And Down The Range

The £9,200 Monster 1100 S adds Ohlins suspension, a few Carbon bits, gold finish wheels and knocks 1 kg off the weight.
